We’re all soldiers tonight

Another show, another chance to do what we love to do. This time we will be playing at the House of Blues on Sunset Blvd as part as a local band showcase from Sean Healy. Doors open at 7:00 pm and we take the stage at 11:30 pm, and another thing it is completely FREE!!!!!!!!! But you must get tickets from us in order to get in for free. See you there, soldiers.

Lock and Load

We’ve been very lucky to have been invited to play the world famous Roxy Theater again! We’ve been even more lucky in the fact that we get to share the same stage eith the guys from The Gaslight Anthem! We are honored to have been given this chance to play with these guys who have played with legendary acts such as The Foo Fighters and Bruce Springsteen. Doors open at 9 and we are scheduled to play at 11:45. This is an all ages show but 21 and younger must buy a food/drink bracelet for $3. Tickets are $12. See you there.

Get out your guns

So guys, our music is in the hands of All Time Low and The Cab. Both bands have assured us that they will take a listen to it, one as soon as monday. Stay tuned for more details.

Give ’em hell kid

So, a lot of stuff has been going on lately; we just made a twitter to better branch out, & we’ve just put the finishing touches on three new songs. To say we’ve been put into overdrive would be an understatement.
As far as recording, and how that is going so far, well let’s just say that by the start of summer, you will have a physical copy of our debut EP in your hands to jam out to for the summer.
Speaking of the start of the summer, by that time, we will also find out if we advance to the final rounds of Ernie Ball’s Battle of the Bands, and ultimately find out if we play this years Warped Tour.
If you’re reading this, then that means you have a genuine interest in what we are doing, and for that we thank you. We couldn’t have made it this far without you and we promise that all this waiting will be worth it.

Start the War

Where should we start? A lot has been going on in the past couple of months, first of all we am pleased to inform all of you that My Pretty Little War is ready to start recording our first EP!! We have found the right studio for us and we are now just making sure that all of our songs are in the best shape so the EP comes out perfect.

Another exciting thing is that we are currently in Ernie Ball’s Battle of the Bands and the winner gets to play Vans Warped Tour. Here’s the low down on how this thing works; various bands sign up for the nearest location where Warped Tour stops by, for us the location is Irvine, and are thrown in the first round of battles. The first round winners are the top 100 bands that have the most votes. After that, the top bands are put in front in front of a panel of judges, made up of the biggest names in the music business, and play their heart out. Out of the top 100 bands, four bands are selected to play the Ernie Ball stage on Vans Warped Tour.

We are extremely excited for everything that’s coming up and we would like to thank you guys for coming along with us on this ride!

Time to get the ball rolling

My Pretty Little War has played some great gigs at some famous places including Chain Reaction, The Key Club, and The World Famous Roxy Theater. We are happy as a band to have those gigs under our belt and we want to play more and more places. It’s time to get the ball rolling for this band and get shit done. Basically, My Pretty Little War is a garage rock band from Downey CA. We are just trying to bring authentic, good rock to the masses. No synths, no drum machines, no autotune; just guitars, drums, and genuine vocals. Inspired from acts such as; Foo Fighters, The Offspring, Blink 182, Metallica, Green Day, The Beatles, and The Clash.
